Clear answers.
Practical next steps.

If your situation is unusual or you are unsure which process applies, contact Owner Relations before sending documents containing personal or financial information.

Where can I find my Owner/Payee Number?

It can typically be found on your JP Oil revenue statement or check detail.

How do I change my mailing address?

Prepare your Owner/Payee Number, the last four digits of the SSN or Tax ID on the account, your current and new addresses, and owner certification. Address changes must be submitted in writing.

What if I do not know the Owner/Payee Number?

Contact Owner Relations. Heirs, estates, guardians, and other representatives can provide the owner’s legal name, last known address, known property information, and their relationship to the owner.

What should I do when an owner passes away?

The required process depends on whether the owner had a will and how the estate is administered. Review the Ownership Changes guide before sending documents.

How do I transfer an interest?

A recorded deed, assignment, conveyance, or other ownership instrument may be required, generally recorded in the county or parish where the interest is located.

How long does an ownership change take?

Processing time has not yet been confirmed. Complexity and the completeness of documentation can affect review.

What if I did not receive a payment?

First confirm that JP Oil has your current address, then contact Owner Relations with your Owner/Payee Number and the applicable payment period.

Where can I obtain owner forms?

Official JP Oil forms will be added to the Forms & Documents page once provided and approved.
